Entering 2025

Well, it’s a little late, but I hope everyone’s New Year is off to a great start! 

I kicked off my 2025 sewing with an in-depth dive into all things denim and jeans-related. Throughout January and into February, I sewed eight pairs of jeans to use as samples for a two-day Denim Workshop. Ten adventurous sewists signed up for the class, held at the Plano Sewing Center, and embarked on their jeans-making journey. 

Many students took advantage of complimentary muslin fittings before the workshop, allowing them to jump straight into cutting their denim once the class began. It was exciting to see their progress and enthusiasm as they tackled this rewarding sewing challenge! 

I hope to be teaching this workshop again later this year, so if you missed it this time stay tuned it will be offered again. 

Open Studio Event – March 7th! 

Join me on March 7th from 10 AM to 3 PM for an Open Studio event at Stitch Me Studio! This is a great opportunity for interested sewists to explore the studio space, test out sewing machines, and get a hands-on experience with the 26” Handi Quilter Forte long-arm quilting machine. 

There will also be Indie sewing patterns available for purchase, along with a variety of pre-cut fabrics and fabric by the yard. Plus, enjoy an exclusive 30% discount on all sales—just keep in mind that all purchases are final.

Stitch Me Studio Lesson Pricing Update – Effective April 1st 

Since 2019, I’ve had the pleasure of teaching at Stitch Me Studio, providing personalized instruction in a welcoming environment. While I’ve kept my pricing the same for years (with a break for COVID), a price adjustment will go into effect on April 1st. 

Important Notes: 
✔ All current bookings will be honored at the current rate 
✔ New pricing applies to lessons booked on or after April 1st 

Updated Lesson Pricing: 

🧵 Single 2-hour private lesson: $60 ($54 with one time discount) 

🧵 Three 2-hour private lessons: $162  

🧵 Five 2-hour private lessons: $255  

🧵 Five 2-hour partner lessons: $408
